We have featured several navigation devices and bicycle bells, but Shoka Bell not only delivers a navigation system, but also provides multiple practical features that allow us to more comfortably enjoy our riding. Curious? Let’s continue checking.
The Shoka Bell is a multi-functional, Bluetooth-enabled bicycle bell that weighs 100g including its handlebar mount. As we can see from the images, unlike a regular bicycle bell, Shoka Bell shows off a unique designed, compact and minimal appearance, and its aluminum housing not only delivers a durable construction, but also adds some modern and stylish aesthetics, while multiple optional colors enable it to match different senses of style.
Using built-in Bluetooth technology, the bicycle bell is able to pair with your smartphone, so in addition to eight different bell tones, you can also create custom ringtones or download more sounds through its companion app, and it’s intuitive joystick lets you trigger the bell with ease. Moreover, Shoka automatically adjusts volume based on the ambient noise.
Furthermore, Shoka Bell also features built-in navigation device that provides real-time navigation using the indicator arrows showing on the top of the bell, and it also helps you find safe router, avoid steep hills and dangerous intersections and displays your friends nearby.
Shoka Bell also includes an effective front light that can automatically adjust to ambient light, ensuring you can always be seen at night. In addition, its magnetic mount features built-in motion sensor. You can easily remove your Shoka Bell from your bike. Once the bike is moved, the Shoka will alert you in a range of up to 250m. Apart from these, its built-in rechargeable battery offers 200 hours of usage between charges.
The crowdfunding campaign for Shoka Bell is ongoing via Kickstarter. Pledging $99 will let you own the bicycle bell with navigation system, front light and motion alert. It will be shipped in March next year.
