Sequent kinetic self-charging smartwatch delivers all features which it should have as a regular smartwatch, and it has a unique feature: no manual charging required.
The Sequent is an innovative and fully featured smartwatch. Its watchcase measures 42.5 x 46.8 x 14.8mm and as shown in the images, it shows off a classic rounded watch design. The minimal dial shows you accurate time in style with two hands, while two extra small dials indicate the power reserve and activity performance. Moreover, the watchcase is made of 316L stainless steel for a solid construction and premium feel. Multiple optional watch straps allow it to blend well with different outfits.
The Sequent smartwatch comes equipped with built-in fitness tracker, heart rate monitor and GPS tracking in order to track your daily activity, steps, distance traveled, routes, and heart rate. Using built-in Bluetooth technology, the smartwatch wirelessly communicates with your smartphone and allows you to check detailed tracking data via its custom app. Same as other smartwatch, Sequent will remind you of incoming notifications from your smartphone.
More importantly, the smartwatch features patented kinetic self-charging battery system, so it’s able to convert kinetic energy into electrical energy to charge its built-in rechargeable battery, so you will never worry about it running out of battery.
The team of Sequent has successfully achieved the crowdfund goal on Kickstarter, but you can still pledge approx US$227 to preorder the kinetic self-charging smartwatch. It’s expected to be shipped in December 2017.
