Following the release of their first Tizen smartphone Z1 early this year, Samsung has announced their second Tizen phone – Galaxy Z3. Let’s go on checking what new features or improvement can be found on the smartphone.
The Galaxy Z3 is an entry-level, large-screen smartphone that measures 70 x 141.6 x 7.9mm and weights 137g. Compared with Z1, Galaxy Z3 delivers us a much more sleek design presented by its slimmer profile, more narrow bezel, and Galaxy Note 5-like back cover.
Samsung Galaxy Z3 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM with microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB, and 5.0″ HD Super AMOLED display. With the configuration, the smartphone can bring you nice response and operating experience. And 8MP rear camera with Flash and f/2.2 aperture and 5MP frontal camera with f/2.2 aperture let you capture clear and sharp images and selfies.
The new Tizen phone preloads Tizen 2.3 OS and has a promise of update to their latest Tizen 2.4 OS. Tizen has its own app store, and it also runs many Android apps, even so it only supports a little part of all apps for Android. No doubt, the lack of apps is the most pressing problem for the smartphone.
