Following original Galaxy Tab and recently-unveiled Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung is still expanding its line of Android tablet. Now the latest one Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has been unveiled.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 measures 8.6mm in thickness, and weights 470g. As its name implies, the Android tablet comes with a 8.9-inch multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. Moreover, Galaxy Tab 8.9 also features a front-facing 2-megapixel camera, a rear 3-megapixel camera, and the capability of HD video playback. Same as T-Mobile G-Slate, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, but features custom user interface by Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 with 16GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi is priced at $469 USD, while 32GB Wi-Fi model costs $569 USD. But Samsung haven’t reveal the price of the models with WiFi & HSPA+. Let’s stay tuned.
