This time, Samsung went ahead of Apple, before iPad 2 is unveiled, Samsung has annouced its latest Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 measures 246.2 x 170 x 10.9mm, weights 599g. The whole tablet pc is powered by a built-in 6860mAh rechargeable battery. Compared with former Galaxy Tab, 10.1 will mount a larger 10.1-inch TFT LCD display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a more powerful 1GHz Dual Core application processor, more advanced 3.0-megapixel rear AF camera with LED flash and 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB or 32GB storage capacity. Other interfaces and accessories also contain HSPA+ 21Mbps, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual surround-sound speakers, 3.5mm standard audio jack, and various sensors including Ayroscope, Accelerometer, Digital Compass, and Proximity.

One of the most important features, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will use new Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system that features improved UI design, optimized 2D and 3D graphics and integrated new Android Market.
