Following Galaxy Tab 2 10.1″ Android tablet, Samsung also announced an innovative Android phone with projector: Samsung Galaxy Beam. If you’re curious, let’s go on checking the full specs of the new smartphone.
Galaxy Beam is a 4.0-inch Android phone that measures 64.2 x 124 x 12.5mm and weights 145.3g. The smartphone runs Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile operating system, and features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.0-inch WVGA TFT display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing webcam for video chat and a 5-megapixel rear auto focus camera for photography and HD video recording, while the built-in projector allows you to playback your videos or images at any time.
Other interfaces also include Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, micro USB, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot supporting 32GB. The supported networks include HSPA 14.4/5.76 Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 and EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900. Apart from that, the Android phone is powered by a 2000mAh rechargeable battery.
So far Samsung hasn’t unveiled the detailed release date and retail price of Samsung Galaxy Beam android phone. We have to wait patiently for further info from Samsung official site.
