Samsung has announced its latest A series that includes three Android smartphones: Galaxy A7, A5 and A3. The A7 has a biggest screen among them, and the A3 should be a more affordable option.
Appearance design
Samsung Galaxy A7 is a large-screen, mid-range smartphone that measures 156.8 x 77.6 x 7.9mm. As we can see from the images, the Android phone shows off a sleek and slim appearance along with smooth edges and corners, and its metal frame and 3D glass back draws on Samsung’s premium design heritage. Moreover, the Galaxy A5 and A3 feature the same design as the A7 except their different sizes, and multiple color options allow them to meet with various users’ lifestyles.
Performance and features
The Galaxy A7 is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor and has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with a microSD card slot for up to 256GB, so the smartphone with Android 6.0 Marshmallow has the ability to deal with various apps, games and videos, and 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display gives you vivid and clear images.
Its 16MP rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera are designed for capturing every great moment in your daily life, making high-quality video calls and taking beautiful selfies.
The Galaxy A5 features almost the same specs as Galaxy A7, but its 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED screen allows you to more easily hold the phone in your hand.
Moreover, Galaxy A3 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM with a microSD card slot for up to 256GB, 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED, 13MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. In addition, the A7, A5 and A3 have 3600mAh, 3000mAh and 2350mAh storage capacity respectively along with fast charging technology, and the three smartphones also feature an IP68 certification. This means that the phones are protected against water ingress to up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
Price and availability
