Using an aluminum casing Samsara smart suitcase delivers a stylish way to carry your travel essentials, and app-enabled design allows it to wirelessly connect with your smartphone. Want to learn more about the luggage? Let’s continue checking.
The Samsara is an advanced and versatile app-enabled smart luggage that measures 14 x 9 x 21 inches (35.56 x 22.86 x 53.34cm). As shown in the images, the carry-on luggage sports a gorgeous minimalistic appearance design, and the enclosure is made from natural, aviation aluminum alloy in order to deliver a durable and lightweight construction along with modern aesthetic style.
Using its unique wheel design, the smart suitcase features a spacious internal space to accommodate your belongings, and included packing bags help you keep all your items organized in the suitcase. Integrated LED light inside the luggage assists you in the dark. The carry-on luggage comes equipped with six wheels including 4 360-degree wheels for a flexible and smooth movement experience.
The top of the luggage features a flat design so you can use it as a working surface to hold your laptop. Its integrated power bank has enough battery capacity to charge your mobile devices up to 10 times, and it also features a USB-C port for MacBook and other USB-C equipped devices. In addition, built-in Bluetooth tracker will send alerts to your smartphone when the suitcase moves away from you or it’s opened out of your sight.
The Samsara has been available for preorder via Indiegogo (flexible crowdfunding goal). You can pledge $395 to preorder the smart suitcase, but it’s strange that the team hasn’t unveiled the estimated shipping time. Hi – since you wrote this review the Samasara case has still not been delivered to backers AND now they have sprung a massive series of design changes on their backers and just hope they will be accepted. The Unique Selling Point of this case was supposed to be the wheel design (Unique, patented we are told…) and the sleek Industrial look. Now what they are hoping we will accept is a parody of the original. Wheels that stick out like warts on a supermodels face, klunky handles, terrible bumpers, cheap locks and an overall look that screams “I am just like any other case you can buy” They have started to censor comments on Kickstarter (IndieGoGO I cannot vouch for)so I started a FB Group where people can post freely. They are also running a StartEngine campaign which is misleading to say the least.
