Most of LEGO models are always immobile in my impression. At least they can’t be moved by a TV remote control. however, TomTheGeek achieved it with his LEGO tank combined PicAxe microcontroller system.
undoubtedly, the PicAxe LEGO tank is made with LEGO bricks. It’s drove by a LEGO Power Function motor controller. The circuit board and IR receiver are placed in the top of the turret. The PicAxe LEGO tank can receive control signal by any IR remote control such as a TV remote control.
TomTheGeek has revealed the whole steps making the PicAxe LEGO tank. If you are also interested, you can follow the steps and create your own RC LEGO tank. After a break, check out the video about the PicAxe LEGO tank.
