Recon Instruments has released their latest smart glasses – Recon Jet. With its built-in sensors and wireless connectivity, the smart eyewear should bring you more convenience for your life.
Recon Jet is an advanced smart glasses powered by an ARM Cortex-A9 1GHz dual-core processor and equipped with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage in order to deliver you high performance and response. The smart glasses features multiple sensors including 3D accelerometer, 3D gyroscope, 3D magnetometer, pressure sensor and infrared sensor plus GPS in order to track full fitness data including speed, pace, distance, duration, vertical elevation gain and more, and using ANT+, you can also wirelessly connect with third-party devices.
Moreover, built-in Bluetooth and WiFi allow the smart glasses to communicate with your smartphone and it works with Apple Health app and Google Fit app. Its 16:9 WQVGA display delivers you high-contrast and bright virtual image that appears as 30″ HD display at 7′ so that you can view info from your smartphone and fitness data. Recon Jet also has a built-in point-of-view camera for capturing videos and photos, and swappable rechargeable battery offers up to 4 hours of typical use. Apart from that, the smart glasses runs ReconOS based on Android, and open source feature allows developers to bring more apps for the smart eyewear.
