Following original Propella ebike last year, Propella has released Propella 2.0, its latest lightweight electric bike built with higher quality components and latest battery technology. Sounds cool? Let’s continue checking.
The Propella 2.0 is a lightweight and high-performance electric bike that weighs 34.5 lbs (15.6kg), and adjustable height allows it to fit for different riders. As we can see from the images, the ebike shows off a sleek blend of road bike and mountain bike, and the anodized blue rims add some vivid aesthetics to the ebike. Meanwhile, its alloy frame and steel fork deliver a solid and lightweight construction.
The Propella 2.0 electric bike comes equipped with a 250W hub motor and a 36V 6.8Ah removable battery in order to provide a top speed of 20mph and 15-40 mile riding range. In addition to a one-speed model, Propella 2.0 also comes in a 7-speed version that’s capable of climbing hills.
Furthermore, using a detachable LED display on the handlebar, you can easily check the status of your ebike and choose pedal assist level among 5 levels based on different roads. Moreover, other features also include Kenda 700×32 tires, front and rear mechanical disc brakes, and alloy seat post, stem and handlebar.
The crowdfunding campaign for Propella 2.0 is ongoing on Indiegogo. You can pledge $999 to preorder the one-speed electric bike ($1149 for the 7-speed model). Both models will be shipped in September 2017 (estimated) if reaching its funding goal.
