PowerVision has unveiled PowerEgg, its latest flying camera drone. Using its unique egg-shaped design and the world’s first gesture-based one-handed controller, the drone has the ability to bring us a futuristic flight experience.
The PowerEgg is an innovative and advanced flying camera drone that weighs 4.6 lbs. As its name implies, when not in use, its propellers and kickstands have been hidden in the smooth body, which makes the flying drone look like an oversized egg, and lightweight construction and portable design allow you to easily take it with you anywhere.
As a camera drone, PowerEgg comes equipped with a 4K UHD camera that’s able to produce professional grade photos and videos with panoramic 360-degree views, and its 3-axis gimbal delivers stabilized aerial views. The camera drone supports long distance real-time video transmission up to 5 kilometers (approx 3.1 miles). Furthermore, using visual and ultrasonic sensors, the PowerEgg can scan the ground beneath it for patterns, enabling it to identify its position and move accurately, and its Vision Position feature allows it to fly indoors.
Moreover, the flying drone features a gesture-based one-handed drone controller for simple and intuitive control experience, and its integrated clip keeps your smartphone in place, delivering real-time aerial images. In addition, its 6400mAh rechargeable battery offers approx 23 minutes of flight time between charges.
The PowerEgg flying camera drone has been available for preorder for $1,288 USD. If you’re interested, jump to PowerVision for its more details. BTW, also don’t miss more cool drones by following tags.
