Following the FPV paper airplane drone, PowerUp has unveiled Dart, its latest app controlled paper airplane, which brings the classic childhood game to an all-new level. Sounds cool? Let’s keep checking.
The Dart is a versatile app-enabled paper airplane kit that contains two main parts including an engine module and multiple paper templates. The paper template comes in several colors, and each kind of colored template features a different pattern design in order to bring you six different paper airplane. Each one features its own characteristics and aeronautics.
All you need to do is fold a Dart with one of included templates, attach the engine module onto the paper airplane and pair it with your smartphone, then using its custom app you can use your smartphone to remotely control your paper plane. Furthermore, the Dart paper plane has the ability to execute various air tricks like wingover, barrel roll, spin and more. Its 75mAh rechargeable battery offers 10 minutes of flight time on a 10-minute charge.
Moreover, the app-controlled paper plane features a movable carbon fiber cross bar that helps it sustain high G force during tight maneuvers, and by moving the cross bar you can adjust the plane’s stability.
The Dart kit is made from carbon fiber and nylon reinforced plastic for durability, and an included rubber tip provides enhanced protection during landing. In addition, included wheel-set is designed for smooth takeoff and landing.
The team behind Dart has raised enough fund for the project on Kickstarter, but we can still pledge $32 to preorder a standard Dart app-controlled paper airplane kit. It will be expected to be shipped in December this year.
