Porsche Design announced Book One at MWC 2017. Now the 2-in-1 convertible laptop has been available for preorder. Like the flexible design? Let’s continue checking.
The Book One is a high-performance and flexible designed convertible laptop that weighs 3 – 3.9 lbs. As we can see from the images, the laptop shows off a sleek and slim appearance design, and its milled aluminum housing with a matte anodized surface finish not only emits charming modern aesthetics, but also provides a lightweight and durable construction.
Compared with Microsoft’s Surface Book, the Book One features a more flexible design. Using a uniquely designed hinge, you can not only rotate the screen of the laptop 360 degrees, but also detach it from its keyboard for a more portable experience. Meanwhile, its 13.3″ QHD+ IPS display features 3209 x 1800 pixel resolution, 276 ppi pixel density and 10-point multitouch, and an included pen was specially designed by Wacom with 2048 pressure points, so you can use it to draw or handwrite on the laptop for higher productivity.
The Book One is powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7500U processor with 2.7GHz up to 3.5GHz and comes equipped with 16GB RAM and 512MB SSD, so it has the ability to smoothly run various applications and deal with numerous files.
Moreover, other features also include 5MP camera with infrared sensor, Bluetooth 4.1, two USB-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, stereo speakers, two built-in microphones, microSD card reader, and Windows 10 OS. In addition, its Li-Polymer battery offers up to 14 hours of usage between charges.
