Nintendo has unveiled Poke Ball Plus, a unique controller for Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Eevee, two latest Pokémon video games. Like it? Let’s have a look.
The Poke Ball Plus is an easy-to-use and eye-catching game controller dedicatedly designed for upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! And it supports Pokémon Go. As we can see from the images, similar with the Pokémon Bluetooth speaker, the controller is shaped as a Pokeball. The Poke Ball Plus measures 48mm diameter, weighs approx 65g, and it features accurate silhouette and exquisite detailing from its original look.
Poke Ball Plus uses Bluetooth technology to wirelessly connect with your Nintendo Switch or smartphone, and it comes equipped with accelerometer and gyro sensor, so it features motion control capability. When you meet a wild Pokémon during playing Pokémon: Let’s Go, you can catch the Pokémon by moving the Poké Ball Plus like you’re throwing it. Meanwhile, when you catch a Pokémon, the ball will light up and vibrate in your hand, and you’ll hear the Pokémon let out its unique cry.
When working with Pokémon GO, Poke Ball Plus can alert you of the presence of a Pokémon nearby. A simple button press allows you to throw a virtual Poke Ball to catch the Pokémon, and by different LED light patterns, you can know whether you’ve caught it. In addition, when connecting with your smartphone, it also count your steps so that you can hatch Eggs and get Candy for your Pokémons.
