Pinout tiny Bluetooth adapter can be attached to your DSLR camera, forming an invisible bridge between your camera and smartphone, so you can get more functional features for awesome time-lapse, HDR and more.
The Pinout is an advanced and mini Bluetooth-enabled smart device that works with Nikon DSLR cameras. The Bluetooth adapter shows off an ultra compact and low-key design that allows it to stay on the accessory port of your camera, and leaving the hot shoe free for an external flash unit.
The camera accessory comes in three models based on different functions including Basic, Pro and Full, and all the three models are able to wirelessly communicate with your smartphone over Bluetooth, so you can remotely control your camera with your phone just like a remote shutter release, and virtual leash keeps your camera securely with you.
The Pinout Pro allows you to perform time-lapse and distance-lapse, and you can also use it to shoot star trails, moreover, its GPS feature can automatically add geotag to your every photo.
In addition to these features, its Full model is able to bring the HDR imaging from the connected smartphone to your DSLR camera and it also supports Bulb ramping. Meanwhile, the Full version also boasts sensor-based photography that automatically control the camera based on your smartphone’s sensors such as motion sensor, lightning sensor and etc, and you can also use Pinout app to control up to 10 camera simultaneously. Apart from that, Pinout is powered by your camera, but the amount of power it requires for one year usage is approx equal to the energy of a button cell.
The crowdfunding campaign for Pinout is ongoing on Indiegogo. You can pledge $89 to preorder its full model. It will be shipped in April 2016. Additionally, also don’t miss the Pulse Bluetooth trigger and more by following tags.
