The Pi Solo is a beautifully designed and versatile wearable mini camera that measures 60.5mm diameter by 19mm depth and weighs 66g. As we can see from the images, the wearable camera shows off an ultra compact and lightweight design, and the lens and curved accent deliver a cute smiling face. Meanwhile, a standard tripod mount has been built in the mini camera plus its compact design and integrated magnet in order that you can attach your Pi Solo anywhere you want like your cloth, backpack, smartphone, tripod and more.
The wearable video camera comes equipped with a super wide-angle lens with 360 x 187 FOV and f/2.1 aperture, and it supports 3456 x 3456 stills and 1920 x 1920 video recording at 30fps. Furthermore, using three perspective modes: Little Planet, Surround and Panoramic, the mini wearable camera brings more creativity to your video recording.
Moreover, built-in WiFi allows you to easily share your photos and videos via your smartphone, and it supports live broadcasting via your favorite social network. In addition, its built-in microSD card slot supports up to 128GB for ample local storage, and the water resistant case allows you to use it during various outdoor activities, but its battery life hasn’t been mentioned on its crowdfunding campaign page.
The team of Pi Solo is raising fund for the product on Kickstarter. We can pledge $179 to preorder the mini wearable camera. If reaching its fund goal it would be shipped in November 2017.
