The Phox V2 is a beautifully designed and eco-friendly jug with built-in water filter that measures 12cm diameter by 30cm high and weighs 1.2kg. As we can see from the images, the V2 delivers a minimal, contemporary appearance design along with two optional colors: carbon black and seal gray, and two extra colors can be unlocked when it reaches strength the goals.
The water jug consists of three parts: the upper polypropylene reservoir with a detachable water filter, the glass pitcher and the rubber non-slip base. And the recycled, foodsafe and BPA-free plastic and glass make the jug eco-friendly. Furthermore, the reservoir is able to filter about 0.75L of water each time. The detachable water filter uses eco-friendly materials including coconut shell activated carbon, ion exchange resin, sodium potassium, magnesium and calcium, and it features 5 separate layers of filtration: one to remove hardness, one to add health boosting minerals, and three layers for removing tap water contaminants.
Moreover, the materials in the filter are refillable, so you just need to replace the inner materials without replacing the plastic filter cartridge.
The team behind Phox V2 is raising fund for the product on Kickstarter. We can pledge $80 to preorder the water filter with 3 month refill pack. The bundle will be shipped in April 2019.
