The Orbii is an innovative and advanced home security camera Thad measures 5 inches diameter and weights 1.5 pounds. As we can see from the images, the surveillance camera shows off a unique spherical body that allows it to smoothly move on the ground, and its portable design enables it to explore every corner in your house. Meanwhile, the spherical body is made of high-density polycarbonate, which delivers a durable and wear resistant construction, so it’s fully capable of outdoor operation.
Using built-in WiFi connectivity, the security camera can join in your local network in order that you can use your smartphone or tablet to remotely control your Orbii or watch live steaming video from your home wherever you’re, and its room mapping feature allows it to create a map for your home, so you can tell Orbii to travel anywhere on the map or patrol the entire home autonomously. If Orbii detects any sound or motion beyond a certain threshold set by you, it will automatically send you text message or notification with a 30 second video, and it can be taught to recognize sounds like smoke alarms, glass breaking, baby crying and more.
The smart security camera has 8 hours of on-board memory for recording audio and video streams and environmental data, and optional cloud storage can store your video data for up to 30 days. Moreover, Orbii works with IFTTT, so it has the ability to interact with your other smart home devices, and modular design allows you to easily add or change modules with ease like a thermal camera, environmental sensors, infra red emitters and even a laser pointer.
