OnePlus has recently unveiled OnePlus 5, its latest smartphone. Want to learn more about the phone in addition to dual camera and dash charge? Let’s continue checking.
Similar with what Apple has done, apparently OnePlus also doesn’t expect its projects are predictable, so it released OnePlus 5 instead of OnePlus 4. Unlike OnePlus 3T, the smartphone features a more minimal appearance design, but it looks more like an iPhone Plus with a similar little adjustment on the antenna bands.
The handset has an ultra slim form factor with a thickness of 3.25mm. It’s even thinner than its predecessor, and with the help of matte finish, you can get a comfortable grip.
As a high-performance smartphone, OnePlus 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and has 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM to effortlessly handle various tasks like HD video playback, mobile gaming and multi-tasking. Built-in 64/128GB ROM stores your apps, photos and videos.
OnePlus 5 features a dual rear camera system with dual LED flash that consists of a 16MP wide-angle camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 20MP telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture. Using Portrait mode, Pro mode and Smart Capture, the camera is designed to deal with various shooting conditions. It also supports up to 4K video recording, and a 16MP front-facing camera is designed for charming selfies and HD video chat.
Moreover, its Dash Charge feature delivers a fast and stable method to charge your OnePlus 5. Its 5.5-inch AMOLED display features 1920 x 1080 resolution, 401ppi pixel density and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and Night and Reading modes provide a more comfortable viewing experience. In addition, other features also include fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, 3.5mm audio jack, and 3300mAh recharged battery.
OnePlus 5 has been available for preorder starting from $479 USD. If you’re interested, jump to OnePlus official site for its more details.
