Olympus TG-5 is a high-performance compact digital camera that measures 4.4 x 2.6 x 1.3 inches (113 x 66 x 31.9mm) and weighs 8.82 oz (250g). As we can see from the images, the camera shows off a low-profile and rugged appearance design along with two color options: black and red. Meanwhile, the solid casing allows it to withstand a wide variety of conditions, and it’s IP68 rated, which means you can use it underwater to depths of 50′ / 15m. Four separate underwater modes allow you to capture more awesome underwater photos and videos with your TG-5.
The compact camera comes equipped with a 12MP BSI CMOS sensor paired with TruePic VIII image processor in order to achieve ideal image quality, 20fps continuous shooting and up to ISO 12800 of sensitivity, and the combo allows it to support up to 4K video recording at 30fps.
Furthermore, the TG-5 features a 4x optical zoom lens with f/2 maximum aperture, and its 25-point autofocus system is designed for various photographing purposes. Moreover, the camera has a 3.0″ 460-k LCD monitor, and built-in WiFi module allows you to remotely control the camera with your smartphone or tablet and easily share photos and videos using social network. In addition, its field sensor system features a GPS module, manometer, compass, and a temperature sensor, which delivers more data along with your photos and videos.
