Olympus has unveiled their latest interchangeable lens mirrorless camera – PEN-F. With its redeveloped sensor and advanced processor, the camera brings you high-quality imagery, and the retro design lets you love her at first glance.
Olympus PEN-F is a high-performance mirrorless micro four thirds camera that measures 4.9 x 2.8 x 1.5 inches and weights 15.06 oz. As shown in the images, the mirrorless camera shows off an eye-catching, old-school design inspired by the original Pen half-frame 35mm film cameras.
The mirrorless camera features a 20.3MP Live MOS Micro Four Thirds sensor and TruePic VII image processor that bring you high-quality stills shooting and Full HD 1080p video recording with rich details and wide color range, and the sensor design without an optical low-pass filter a gives higher apparent sharpness and resolution. Meanwhile, its sensitivity range from ISO 200-25600 ensures the PEN-F works well in a variety of lighting conditions.
Furthermore, the PEN-F also features a sensor-shift 5-axis image stabilization system in order to minimize the appearance of camera shake no matter what lens you use. Moreover, using a high-speed contrast-detection AF system with 81 focus areas, the mirrorless camera allows to quickly and accurately acquire focus with single or continuous modes.
Additionally, Olympus PEN-F comes with a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder that covers 100% of the image frame with a 1.08x magnification, and it also has a 3.0″ touchscreen LCD monitor, and its tilting design brings you more possibilities to capture great photos. In addition, built-in WiFi allows you to wirelessly connect the camera with your smartphone or tablet, so you can effortlessly transmit your photos and videos to a connected mobile device or use it to remote control your PEN-F.
