NVIDIA has announced its latest gaming tablet – SHIELD Tablet and a custom designed wireless game controller. If you need a comfortable way to play your favorite mobile games, the Android tablet may be more suitable for you.
The SHIELD Tablet is a high performance gaming tablet that measures 8.8 x 5.0 x 0.36 inches and weights 13.7 oz. The Android tablet sports NVIDIA Tegra K1 192 core Kepler GPU, 2.2GHz ARM Cortex A15 CPU, and comes equipped with 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 8-inch multi-touch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and front-facing stereo speakers in order to provide you fluent and comfortable gaming experience. Moreover, other specs also include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, mini HDMI output, microSD card slot, 5-megapixel front-facing and rear cameras.
The SHIELD wireless controller features a sleek ergonomic design, and using built-in WiFi connectivity, you can easily pair it with your SHIELD Tablet. Additionally, the game controller comes with a D-pad, two analogy sticks, 4 front-facing firing buttons, and 4 shoulder buttons in order to fit various games, and even those videos game streamed from your computer. Apart from that, the game controller also comes equipped with stereo headphone jack and microphone.
