Nintendo Wii U game console system consists of two main parts including Wii U console and Wii U GamePad. The game console features a compact design that will make it a natural addition to any home entertainment setup, and comes with an IBM Power-based multi-core processor with AMD Radeon-based high definition GPU, 2GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage (32GB for Deluxe Set), WiFi, 4 USB connector, HDMI output, and AV out. Moreover, the game console also supports SDHC memory cards and external USB storage.

The accompanying Wii GamePad game controller features an integrated 6.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD touch screen in order to create a second window to expand the gaming experience, while the control system consists of + control pad, L/R sticks, L/R stick buttons, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R buttons, ZL/ZR buttons, Power button, Home button, -/Select button, +/Start button, and TV Control button. Apart from that, the gamepad also features motion control, front-facing camera, microphone, stereo speakers, sensor bar, an accompanying stylus, rumble features and support for NFC.
