Nikon has announced their latest DL compact camera series including DL18-50, DL24-85 and DL24-500. All the three cameras have a 1″ CMOS sensor, but based on their different lenses and looks, let’s go on checking two of them: DL18-50, DL24-85.
Nikon DL18-50 and DL24-85 are two premium compact digital cameras. The DL18-50 measures 4.2 x 2.5 x 2.3 inches, weights 12.88 oz, while the DL24-85 measures 4.1 x 2.4 x 2.0 inches and weights 12.35 oz. As we can see from the images, both cameras feature a similar design. The compact profile and ergonomic grip let you comfortably hold one of them for shootings, and there are multiple physical buttons and dials on the metal body of each camera for easy access. Meanwhile, the lens features an integrated precise zoom ting and a separate customizable ring that can be set for aperture, shutter speed, manual focus or white balance.
Nikon DL18-50 and DL24-85 feature a large 1″ CX-format 20.8MP BSI CMOS sensor and Expeed 6A image processor in order to deliver high-resolution photos and video shooting with low noise at sensitivities up to ISO 12800, and the pairing also offers continuous shooting at up to 20 fps with autofocus or 60 FPS with fixed focus and UHD 4K video recording.
Nikon DL18-50 has a NIKKOR 6.7-18.5mm f/1.8-2.8 ED VR lens, and the DL24-85 comes with a NIKKOR 8.8-31.3mm f/1.8-2.8 ED VR lens. Using their Fluorine coating and Dual Detect Optical VR image stabilization, the two compact cameras capture spectacular and crisp images. Moreover, DL series’s advanced Hybrid AF helps you accurately lock every subject you want to capture. In addition, using built-in WiFi and NFC, the two cameras wirelessly connect with your smartphone or tablet for easy to share your photos and videos, and using its app, you can remotely control your DL series camera.
