After 3 years of release of Coolpix P900, Nikon has released its successor – Nikon Coolpix P950. With multiple enhancements, the super telephoto camera will bring you a better photography experience.
The Coolpix P950 is a high-performance super long zoom camera that measures 5.6 x 4.4 x 5.9 inches and weighs 35.5oz. Compared with its predecessor, the camera is a bit bigger and heavier because of more advanced features like the 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder, 3.2-inch LCD monitor and more.
The telephoto camera comes equipped with a 16MP 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor paired with EXPEED image processor to bring you clear and sharp images, an expandable sensitivity range from ISO 100-6400, and up to 7fps continuous stills shooting at full resolution.
Furthermore, Nikon Coolpix P950 also supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps. The integrated 83x optical zoom NIKKOR lens with f/2.8 to 6.5 fits for various shot environments.
With Dual Detect Optical VR technology, the telephoto camera effectively reduces image blur caused by camera shake to suit handheld shooting.
Moreover, the 3.2″ LCD monitor features vari-angle design, which allows it to work from more angles. The OLED electronic viewfinder gives you eye-level monitoring.
In addition, using built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, it easily transfers photos to your mobile device and supports remote camera control.
Nikon Coolpix P950 telephoto camera is priced at $796.95 USD. If you’re interested, jump to the product page for its more details.
