Netgear has unveiled Nighthawk AX8, the next-gen AX6000 WiFi router. Want to learn more about the new device? Let’s continue checking.
The Nighthawk AX8 is a high-performance AX dual band WiFi router that measures 12.1 x 9.38 x 5.08 inches and weighs 2.88 ounces. As we can see from the images, the both upswept sides and solid black exterior make the wireless router look like a nighthawks spreading the wings for a pretty cool appearance design.
Unlike any AC WiFi router, the Nighthawk AX8 is built under AX WiFi, a new standard of WiFi, which means it is able to provide faster speeds, a substantial increase in network capacity, and allow more devices to connect to the network at the same time, so the Nighthawk AX8 features 8-Stream WiFi with up to 1.2Gbps + 4.8Gbps for ultra-fast wireless speeds, and 4-stream MU-MIMO enables video streaming for up to 4 1×1 devices at the same time.
Furthermore, the AX WiFi router allows more than 20 devices to connect with your network, and its AX-optimized 1.8GHz quad-core processor handles data intensive applications such as video streaming, VR/AR gaming and more. Its four high-performance antennas extend wireless range coverage indoors and out. In addition, its six Gigabit ports are designed to connect wired devices for faster file transfer and uninterrupted connections. Two USB ports works with other USB devices.
Netgear Nighthawk AX8 8-stream AX6000 WiFi router is priced at $399.99 USD. If you’re interested, jump to the product page for its more details.
