Native Union released Eclipse, its latest charging station. Using its integrated cable organizer, the charger delivers a neat and clean way to charge your multiple mobile devices, and built-in USB-C port maximize its compatibility.
Appearance design
The Eclipse is a multi functional and versatile charging station that measures 150 x 150 x 62.5mm. As we can see from the images, the dock shows off a sleek rounded appearance along with minimalistic aesthetic style, and its top cover is made from natural wood, which delivers charming and one-of-a-kind wood grain.
Meanwhile, the portable design allows you to easily deploy it on your desk or nightstand, or you can mount it on the wall.
Function features
The rounded charging station comes equipped with three hidden USB charging ports, and one of the ports can be turned into a USB-C port for those USB Type-C equipped mobile devices. Using smart IC technology, the charging station ensures that your devices are always charging at their maximum speed (up to 2.4A or 3A for USB-C).
Using a built-in cable organizer, Eclipse keeps your charging cables hidden in place when not use, so you will never worry about the cables messing up your room, and precision-engineered channels prevent your cables from getting tangled. When needed, by touching the wooden cover with touch sensor, you can easily raise up the cable organizer for easy access to the charging cables.
Moreover, built-in LED guide light lets you effortlessly use the charging station in the dark, and silicone feet keeps your Eclipse firmly standing on your desk. In addition, its integrated advanced transformer guarantees safe currents that will never damage your devices’ batteries in the long term.
Price and shipment date
The crowdfunding campaign for Eclipse is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $59 to preorder the charging station and a custom wall mount. It will be shipped in April 2017.
