The Muggino is an advanced, app-enabled smart mug that measures 3-5/8 – 2-9/16 inches diameter by 8-1/4 inches height and weighs 1.7 lbs. As we can see from the images, the smart mug sports a stylish and modern design defined by its aluminum alloy exterior and minimal handle. Meanwhile, its portable design allows you to store it in your bag or keep it in your car’s cup holder.

Function features

The smart travel mug features a double-wall construction that consists of its aluminum exterior and stainless steel interior. There are thermoelectric coupling modules between the two walls. For hot beverages, the Muggino is able to harvest their waste hot and convert it to electricity, charging its own rechargeable battery. When the beverage reaches optimal temperature, the smart mug keeps it in the perfect temperature zone by its efficient heating system.

For cold beverages, the travel mug also helps you keep it in an optimal drinking temperature. Moreover, built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows it to wirelessly connect with your smartphone, so you can use its custom app to set ideal temperatures or choose between three modes including auto, quick cooling and quick heating.

Price and shipment date

The Muggino has been available for preorder on Indiegogo. You can pledge $79 to preorder the self powered smart mug. It will be shipped in November 2017.
