Earlier this year Motorola released its first Android tablet XOOM. Now Motorola has announced two new Android tablets: XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition. If you’re curious, let’s go on checking.
The new Motorola XOOM 2 measures 253.9 x 173.6 x 8.8mm, weights 599mm, while XOOM 2 Media Edition is 139 x 216 x 8.99mm, and weights 386g. Both of them run Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb mobile operating system, and feature a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 1.3-megapixel front and 5-megapixel rear cameras with digital zoom, auto focus and LED flash, and WiFi.
Motorola XOOM 2 Android tablet has a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, MOTOPRINT integrated into key apps that allow you to print wirelessly from the tablet, and built-in rechargeable battery delivering you 10+ web usage. Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition comes with a 8.2-inch widescreen HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, multiple speakers and booming bass, preloaded MotoCast that allows you to stream and access your files from PC or Mac to the tablet, while the integrated battery can provide you 6+ hours web usage or more than 3 days of music playback.
Motorola XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition will be available first in the UK and Ireland in mid-November. At present, the prices are still unknown. So let’s stay tuned for further info. After the break, check out the following demo video.
