Microsoft Band is a multi functional fitness tracker that comes in three sizes for different wearers. As we can see from the images, the smart device sports a gorgeous, minimal design and the band material is thermal plastic elastomer for a comfortable wearing experience. Most importantly, the fitness tracker features built-in optical heart rate sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, gyrometer, GPS, ambient light sensor, skin temperature sensor, UV sensor, capacitive sensor, and galvanic skin sensor in order to track your heart rate, physical activity, routes, steps, pace, sleep patterns, calories burned, and UV index. Additionally, expert-designed workouts maximize your fitness.
Microsoft Band uses Bluetooth 4.0 to communicate with your smartphone, in addition to display vital tracking info, the integrated capacitive 1.4″ TFT full color display shows you text messages, incoming call & voicemail notifications, Facebook updates, tweets, Emails, and etc. If you’re using Windows Phone 8.1, you can also takes notes and set reminders with your voice using Cortana personal assistant.
