Microsoft’s Surface tablet will be available in two types based on different operating systems including Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT. Surface for Windows RT measures 9.3mm thick, weights 676g, while Surface for Windows 8 Pro measures 13.5mm thick and weights 903g. Surface with Windows RT comes with an NVIDIA Tegra ARM processor, a 10.6-inch ClearType HD display, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, USB 2.0, Micro HD Video, 2×2 MIMO antennae and 31.5 W-h rechargeable battery.

Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro features an Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, a 10.6-inch ClearType HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 64GB or 128GB internal storage, microSDXC card slot, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort Video, 2×2 MIMO antennae, and 42 W-h rechargeable battery.
