MAKERbuino is a customizable and portable game console that comes in a kit form. The assembled gaming device measures 13 x 6 x 2.5cm, and as we can see from the images, it features an ultra compact appearance design, and its transparent casing shows off its internal electronics for a unique look while the smooth corners let you comfortably hold it in your hands for playing games.
The MAKERbuino kit contains all the electronic components. All you need to build the game console from scratch is an interest in technology and included basic tools: one USB soldering iron, 1m soldering wire, one cross screwdriver, diagonal cutter pliers, and solder pump.
The assembled handheld game console features a D-pad, three firing buttons and 84×84 monochrome graphic LCD display, and it comes with a 128MB SD Card preloaded with numerous retro games so that you can use it to play various fun video games wherever you’re, and you can also download more games from its online game gallery. Using its Arduino library, the gaming device also allows you to program your own video games and share them with other users. In addition, using i2c link cables, you can connect multiple MAKERbuinos for multiplayer games.
