The MagNeo is a multi-purposed and easy-to-use USB-C connector that’s compatible with all USB-C equipped devices including all Thunderbolt 3 devices like 2016 MacBook Pro, Google Pixel, Google Chromebooks and more. The USB-C adapter measures 0.68 x 0.94 x 0.36 inches, and its plug part is smaller that Griffin BreakSafe’s plug, so it can stay on your MacBook Pro in a more low-profile way, and its contoured bead blasted aluminum casing allows it to match well with the style of your premium laptop or other mobile devices.
Function features
The MagNeo USB-C adapter comes equipped with high strength neodymium magnets, so you won’t worry about causing problem when the cable is unlatched. The magnetic adapter features 100W charging capacity and its gold plated pogo pins provides a secure connection with low power losses.
In addition to powering and charging your USB-C device, the USB-C adapter also works with your USB-C hub and display, so it also supports up to 5K video and Thunderbolt 3 speed data transmission. Meanwhile, USB-C reversible feature provides ultra simple connection.
Price and shipment date
The crowdfunding campaign for MagNeo is ongoing via Kickstarter. You can pledge $35 to preorder the magnetic USB-C adapter. It will be shipped in January 2017.
