The Lumu Power is a versatile and easy-to-use light meter that only measures 33 x 42.2 x 20.9mm. As we can see from the images, the Lumu Power follows the ultra compact design of its original Lumu, but the new light meter comes equipped with a Lightning connector, which allows it to only work with iPhones with Lightning connector.
As a powerful light meter, Lumu Power features two state-of-the art sensors including True Color sensor based on the color standard CIE 1931/DIN 5033, and Photodiode with CIE spectral luminous efficiency, so it’s able to measure color temperature, white balance, flash, ambient exposure and illuminance, and all measuring data will be shown on your smartphone with its custom app in order to provide you important reference for your photography.
The crowdfunding campaign for Lumu Power is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $199 to preorder the light meter with Lightning connector. It will be shipped in June 2016.
