Lenovo has released Phab 2 Pro, the first smartphone with Tango, an augmented reality (AR) technology from Google. Want to enjoy the benefits from AR? Let’s continue checking.
Appearance design
Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is an advanced and powerful smartphone that measures 3.49 x 7.08 inches and weighs 0.57 lbs. As we can see from the images, the smartphone sports an aluminum unibody design for durability and lightweight construction. Meanwhile, two optional finishes deliver modern and stylish aesthetics, and its slightly curves back allows you to comfortably hold the phone in your hand.
AR features by Tango
As an augment reality enabled smartphone, Phab 2 Pro features built-in Tango developed by Google. Using the feature, you can use the handset to enjoy augment reality enabled games and utilities, so those virtual objects and info will overlay onto the real world, and you can also interact with them such as measuring items with just the phone, seeing how furniture or decor will look in your room, raising virtual pets and more.
Performance
The smartphone runs Google Android 6.0 OS, and it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM in order to deal with various apps, games and multimedia content. Its 6.4″ QHD screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution and 2.5D curved glass delivers vibrant and color-accurate imagery.
Other features
The Phab 2 Pro has a 16MP rear camera with RGB fast focus, depth sensor, motion tracking sensor and fisheye designed for its AR features and ultra-wide angle panoramas. Its front-facing camera features 8MP sensor and f/2.2 aperture for clear and vivid selfies.
