LEGO RC Robot Hand with Exoskeletal Controller

Although there is no need to prove the practicality of LEGO bricks, yet the incredible LEGO RC robot hand brought us many delights.

LEGO RC Robot Hand with Exoskeletal Controller

The Lego remote controlled hand is created by David Hyman, a professional LEGO creator. Three RCX LEGO bricks are used for building the kit of robotic hand, which consists of two parts, including a robotic hand and an exoskeletal controller. The robotic hand comes with light sensors and a gradient to handle feedback from the exoskeletal controller wearing on the operator’s hand. The controller comes with rotation sensors for the fingers and touch sensors for the wrist.

The LEGO RC robot hand is not an immovable model. It can do many interesting things just like picking up ball and delivering to your friend. Of course, it would be better if the robot hand could replace the expensive device of motion capture. If you’re interested, here is the video about the robot hand.
