With a foldable head, Leatherman Crunch multitool pliers deliver a compact form factor, and 15 lockable tools help you handle various repair tasks. Let’s have a look if you like the design.
The Crunch is a versatile and easy-to-use multitool that measures 4.45 x 8.89 x 12.7 inches and weighs 6.9 oz. The multitool features a foldable plier head plus a custom carrying case so that you can easily take you with you. Meanwhile, a lanyard ring allows you to securely attach it to a lanyard.
The multitool delivers regular pliers and locking pliers, and the crunch clamps up to a 1-inch diameter pipe. When removing an adjusting screw at the end, you will find a hex-bit adapter built right in. The locking blades can release with the push of a button to crunch pipes, cables and more.
Furthermore, the multitool pliers also feature 13 lockable tools including hard-wire cutters, wire cutters, wire stripper, 420HC serrated knife, ruler, pin vise, bottle opener, wood/ metal file, 1/4″ hex bit drive, Phillips screwdriver, large screwdriver, medium screwdriver and small screwdriver, so you can also use it to deal with various repair tasks.
The Crunch multitool pliers are priced at $109.70 USD. If you’re interested, jump to the product page for its more details.
I want to purchase this multitool as I have two other Leatherman products. A Wave and Charge multitools. My objection to the Crunch is its $109.70 price. If it were priced at $99.99 I would buy it in a heartbeat. I want the Crunch because of its Vise-Grip clamping feature. The ability to use hex-bits at the end of the handle is a nice feature, but they’re not included at the $109.70 price point.
