Kensington has unveiled SD7000, its latest dual 4K Surface Pro docking station. Want to get better desktop experience from the premium tablet? Let’s keep checking.
The SD7000 is a beautifully designed, multi-functional docking station dedicatedly designed for Microsoft Surface Pro. As we can see from the images, the dock shows off a minimalistic and elegant appearance design that’s compliant to the gorgeous design of your Surface Pro, and the compact and slim base just needs a small area on your desk.
The SD7000 docking station works with Surface Pro (2017) and Surface Pro 4 and Monitors that support up to 4K. Its custom holder keeps your Surface Pro upright above the base, and using its articulating hinge, the angle and position are adjustable, so you will always get an optimal angle for painting, drawing, editing or just viewing. The magnetic design keeps your Surface Pen on the holder for easy access.
The Surface Pro docking station allows to connect with two external displays with its HDMI and DisplayPort, and both ports support 4K resolution. Moreover, 4 USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C port ensure your Surface Pro can connect with more external devices, and a Gigabit Ethernet port delivers a reliable 1Gb wired networking connection between computers. In addition, the security slot works with Kensington lock module, which protects your Surface Pro dock from potential thieves.
Kensington SD7000 Dual 4K Surface Pro docking station will be available for $299.99 USD. If you’re interested, jump to Kensington official site for its more details.
