We’re not sure whether Apple have cooperated with Lucasfilm for some aspects of upcoming Star Wars VII, but the following concept lightsaber called iSaber will prove the possibility of cooperation.
Martin Hajek, a talented designer from Netherlands designed the Apple-styled lightsaber. As we can see from the images, many classic elements from iPhone, MacBook, Mac Pro and iPod touch have been mixed onto the futuristic handheld device. Apparently, pressing the Home Button with Touch ID sensor, you can activate your iSaber, and a bar-shaped display shows you the battery level of the lightsaber and other settings. From the icons, the iSaber may also be used as a remote shutter or LED flashlight and not just a laser weapon. Furthermore, built-in USB-C port lets you charge your lightsaber, and included lanyard ensure the dangerous handheld device always in your hand. After the break, check out the following images about the design concept. BTW, also don’t miss other excellent designs from Martin like Star Wars BB-8 droid and more by following tags.
Of course it will slip out of your hand (just like iPhone 6 Plus does) & cut off your feet. Which means it needs to come with a case.
