Huawei P9 and P9 Plus are two high-performance smartphones that run Google Android 6.0 OS with EMUI 4.1 UI. As we can see from the images, both smartphones show off a sleek and ultra thin design, and its 2.5D glass and smooth edges in matte finish deliver a comfortable and firm grip. Moreover, the body is made of aerospace-class aluminum for a durable construction and stylish look.
Both P9 and P9 Plus feature two 12MP rear cameras with Leica Summarit dual lenses and Sony’s BSI CMOS sensors, dual-tone flash and f/2.3 aperture. One camera uses a traditional RGB sensor for color photos, another has a monochrome sensor for black-and-white photos. The two smartphones have the ability to blend the two kinds of photos and give you a higher-quality and bright photo with rich details.
Huawei P9 is a 5.2″ smartphone that measures 145 x 70.9 x 6.95mm and weights approx 144g. The Android phone is powered by a Huawei Kirin 955 64-bit octa-core processor and has 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB ROM, and 5.2″ 1080p FHD screen and 3000mAh rechargeable battery
Huawei P9 Plus measures 152.3 x 75.3 x 6.98mm and weights approx 162g. The large version comes equipped with Huawei Kirin 955 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 5.5″ 1080p FHD AMOLED display and 3400mAh battery. Additionally, its ‘Pree Touch’ screen pressure recognition technology brings you more interaction with the touchscreen.
Furthermore, both smartphones also share other features including fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, and optional NFC as well as microSD card slot supporting 128GB.
