Apparently the prediction has come true. Following Apple iPad, more and more tablet PCs appeared on the market. Now HP Slate 500 tablet PC has been available.
HP Slate 500 tablet PC measures 23.40 x 1.47 x 15.00 cm, weights about 0.68 kg. The direct impression of the tablet is the 8.9-inch touch screen with 1024 x 600 or 1024 x 768 resolution. Inside, HP Slate 500 comes with Intel Atom Z540 processor (1.86 GHz, 512 KB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB), 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 RAM, 64 GB SSD drive, Intel GMA 500 integrated graphics and Broadcom Crystal HD enhanced video accelerator.
Other features include built-in stereo speakers and microphone, 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 combo headphone and mic jack, and 1 Secure Digital slot, 1 power/HP cradle connector. And HP Slate 500 tablet PC also features two integrated cameras including outward-facing 3-megapixel camera and inward-facing VGA webcam.
