The pair of planters are handmade by RedwoodStoneworks, a handicraft studio in California, and based on two iconic characters from Guardians of the Galaxy: baby Groot and Rocket the Raccoon. Each air plant holder measures about 2.5 x 2.5 inches, and as shown in the images, it’s shaped as Groot’s or Rocket’s head. Meanwhile, the mini body shows off rich and accurate detailing, while the Funko Pop-inspired style makes the characters look more adorable.
The air plant holders are cast in gypsum plaster, sanded, drilled, cleaned and painted by hand, so unlike 3D printed models, every baby Groot or Rocket the raccoon planter is one-of-a-kind. Moreover, with an ideal inner space, the mini planter fits various air plants.
