It’s pretty hard to get Nike Mag self-lacing shoes, but we found a decent alternative – the handmade Back to the Future knitted slippers. Like the idea? Let’s continue checking.
This is a pair of well-crafted and eye-catching knitted slippers themed by Back to the Future, and handcrafted by FifthAvenue5, a small handicraft studio from Turkey. As shown in the images, the knitted slippers are shaped as Marty McFly’s self-lacing sneakers, and they show off those iconic details and colors from the original appearance, but unlike the futuristic sneakers built with high-tech materials, the slippers are hand knitted with organic yarn.
Same as the sneakers, the knitted slippers feature a high-top design plus soft and stretchy yarns in order to bring you a comfortable and warm wearing experience. Furthermore, all adult and children sizes can be knitted. All you need to do is just send the crafter a message with your requested size.
The handmade Back to the Future knitted slippers start from $69 USD. If you’re interested, jump to Etsy (unavailable) for its more details.
Hi Daniel, a bit of homespun research before you mix up knitting and crocheting.
Trivial to you, but it goes to the heart of every knitter when you do that. It is akin to mixing up Apple and Android phones.
