Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are the successor to Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL released last year. Compared with their predecessors, the two flagship smartphones deliver a similar appearance design, but the usage of similar colors make both phones look more low-profile and elegant, while the notch design on the top of the screen provide a larger screen.
Google Pixel 3 measures 5.7 x 2.7 x 0.3 inches and weighs 148g. The smartphone has a 5.5″ FHD+ flexible OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 443 ppi pixel density. The Google Pixel 3 XL measures 6.2 x 3.0 x 0.3 inches and weighs 184g, so it features a 6.3″ QHD+ OLED display at 523 ppi with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630 Graphics and comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage, so both phones deliver excellent performance to deal with various apps, games and multimedia playback.
Unlike iPhone XS and XS Max with dual camera system, Google Pixel 3 phones still use a single 12MP rear camera that features f/1.8 aperture, autofocus and dual pixel phase detection, optical and electronic image stabilization, and spectral and flicker sensor. Using Google Lens feature, the rear camera helps you search what you see such as finding products, identifying landmarks, plants and animals, and etc. The Top Shot automatically pick the best photos from continuous shooting, while Super Res Zoom feature ensures your pictures sharp when you zoom in. The 8MP wide-angle and normal FoV dual front-facing cameras let you capture perfect group selfies.
Both phones run Google Android 9 Pie OS with Google Assistant in order to bring you more new features such as simply flipping your Pixel 3 over to silence your notifications, tracking your habits, setting wind down schedules and more. A Titan M security chip has been built in Pixel 3 and 3 XL, which helps secure you passwords and operating system. In addition, Pixel 3 has 2915mAh rechargeable battery, and Pixel 3 XL comes with a 3430mAhn rechargeable battery. Both phones supports 18W fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
