The Instinct is a well-designed and versatile GPS smartwatch that weighs 52g. As we can see from the images, the smart wearable shows off a tough and rugged appearance design, and three optional colors allow it to meet more personal styles. Meanwhile, the smartwatch is constructed to U.S. military standard 810G for thermal, shock, and water resistance so that you can wear it for any outdoor adventure.

Garmin Instinct comes equipped with 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter and multiple global navigation satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS and Galileo in order to provide more detailed tracking info, and its TracBack feature helps you navigate the same route back to your starting point. Using Garmin Explore website and app, you can conveniently plan your trips in advance. Furthermore, it serves as a fitness tracker with heart rate monitor to track your heart rate, activity and stress, and preloaded activity profiles provide detailed tracking for running, biking, swimming and more.

Moreover, built-in Bluetooth technology allows it to wirelessly communicate with your iPhone or Android phone so that you can check notifications from your phone on your wrist, and it supports text response and rejecting phone calls with text. In addition, built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 14 days of usage in smart mode, up to 16 hours in GPS mode or up to 40 hours in UltraTrac battery saver mode.
