Fossil has unveiled its two 3rd generation smartwatch series: Fossil Q Venture and Q Explorist. Want to know more about the smartwatches? Let’s continue checking.
The Fossil Q Venture and Q Explorist are two Android Wear 2.0 OS supported smartwatches that work with smartphones running Android 4.3+ or iOS 9.0+. Both wearables share almost same specs. The stainless steel watchcases measure 44mm diameter by 12mm thick, but the Q Venture features a more minimal and sleek appearance design, while the Q Explorist delivers a more rugged watchcase with one crown and two buttons.
The Android Wear smartwatches use Bluetooth 4.1 to wirelessly communicate with smartphone, so in addition to displaying time and date, the full-round display of Q Venture or Q Explorist also shows you various notifications from your phone like texts, calls, app update and more. Furthermore, both wearables are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 and have 4GB storage capacity and 512MB RAM in order to ensure a smooth and lag-free operation.
Furthermore, built-in fitness tracker is designed to track your daily activity data including steps, distance traveled and calories burned, and you can set a vibration or audible alert for wake-ups or workouts. Moreover, both smartwatches come equipped with a LED flashlight for illuminating a carryall or small area, and built-in rechargeable battery offers 24 hours of battery life between charges. In addition, Q Venture and Q Explorist are customizable via their customizable watch faces and Interchangeable watch straps for personalized looks.
Fossil Q Venture and Q Explorist have been available for preorder, each costs $255 or $275 USD. If you’re interested, jump to Fossil official site for their more details.
