The EcoGarden is a mini interactive indoor interactive ecosystem that consists of a smart miniature greenhouse and a self-cleaning aquarium. The mini ecosystem measures 16.7 x 10.2 x 10.6 inches and weighs 6.6 lbs (empty system). As we can see from the images, the EcoGarden shows off an elegant and minimal Scandinavian style to fit for any interior decoration style. Meanwhile, using your favorite plants and fishes, the ecosystem adds mush natural and vivid aesthetics into your room.
There is an integrated mini garden on the top of the smart aquarium. Using the indoor garden, you can grow up to 6 plants including herbs, vegetables and fruits, and with a light sensor, the smart LED grow light automatically adjusts the light intensity based on the measures ambient light to optimize plant growth and energy efficiency. Under the mini garden is a smart aquarium that can store up to 24L of water.
Using nature’s biological filtration power, combined with extra sponges and a water pump, the water gets cleaner than a standard aquarium. Furthermore, the fish wastes is naturally broken down from ammonia to nitrate by beneficial microbes, supplying the plants with the nutrients they need, so you don’t have to spend too much time on maintaining the aquarium, feeding your fishes and watering the plants. Moreover, built-in WiFi connectivity allows the smart aquarium to join in your home network. With its automatic feeder, you can schedule it to feed your fishes whenever you want. The EcoGarden also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant so that you can use your voice to remotely control it. In addition, its custom app provides intuitive controls and detailed status data about the mini ecosystem.
The team behind EcoGarden is raising fund for the product on Kickstarter. We can pledge $293 to preorder the smart aquarium with mini indoor garden. It will be shipped in December 2018 once reaching the fund goal.
