As we see, this is a solar powered media player called Eclipse instead of a giant professional thermometer.
The unique media player is designed by Hoang M Nguyen and Anh Nguyen. There are photovoltaic cells on its backing. Once Eclipse is stuck onto the window through attached suction cup, the cells can store solar power in order to provide electric power for built-in speakers, bluetooth device, and etc. Via bluetooth interface, Eclipse is not only able to connect iPhone, MP3 player, and other bluetooth enabled audio devices, but also get weather updates, podcasts and radio.
Moreover, Eclipse media player features a retro cassette-style compartment to hold the audio device. And via Eclipse app, the Android or iPhone held in Eclipse can display screen savers for you. It sounds really great, but Eclipse is still a design concept, we can’t get it home at present.
