The Droppler is an advanced and easy-to-use app-enabled water monitor that shows off a smooth and minimalistic design, and its housing is made from porcelain, which adds elegant aesthetics to the device, and portable design allows you to easily deploy it in your kitchen or wash room.
The water usage monitor consists of three removable modules including main board with 500MHz microprocessor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB ROM, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, microphone module, and LED strip with 16 high-brightness RGB LEDs. Using advanced audio recognition, Droppler detects the sound of running water and intuitively shows you your water usage via its LED strip, and the water monitor wirelessly communicates with your smartphone, so its companion app helps you set goals, track progress and get reports about your water consumption.
Furthermore, the Droppler is modular with three removable modules. Using optional camera and speaker modules and the three existing units, you can turn your Droppler into a mini camera or Bluetooth speaker.
The Droppler has been available for preorder via Indiegogo. You can pledge $199 to preorder the water monitor with camera and speaker modules. It will be shipped in June this year.
